Whose -asking questions
- Whose car is that? - De quem é aquele carro?
- Whose book is this? - De quem é este livro?
- Whose pens are those? - De quem são aquelas canetas?
Você percebe a diferença entre o inglês e o português? Observe bem! A diferença está apenas na ordem das palavras. Ou seja, em português a sequência é 'de quem + verbo + pronome + objeto'. Já em inglês é como se falássemos 'de quem + objeto/coisa + verbo + pronome'. Reveja os exemplos acima e note isto! Veja ainda mais alguns exemplos:
- Whose bike is that? [De quem é aquela bicileta?]
- Whose house is that? [De quem é aquela casa?]
- Whose parents are they? [Eles são pais de quem?]
Na última sentença agora você percebe que a equivalência em português foi diferente. Ou seja, invertemos praticamente tudo. Na verdade não há dificuldade em como usar esta palavrinha. Tudo o que você precisa fazer é perceber que a ordem das palavras será diferente em português e em inglês.
